Survival is personal.
Hunger, thirst, cold and infections. Gather what you need, treat your wounds and choose what to carry home.
Survival & crafting

New game in development
The island of Vexhold is cut off from the world. The evacuation never came. Survive the seasons, build your base and hold out against the hordes. Our own multiplayer horror-survival game, in development on our own engine.
The concept
A planned open world where zombies, players and nature shape your choices. Alone or together. For every day you survive.
Hunger, thirst, cold and infections. Gather what you need, treat your wounds and choose what to carry home.
Survival & craftingFrom a wooden shelter to a reinforced base. Your walls will have to keep out players and hordes alike.
Building & raidingFour seasons change the island. Storms, frozen water and dangerous nights force you to adapt.
Seasons & a living worldDay 47 · Winter
Hunger, thirst, cold, bleeding, broken bones and the infection crawling through your veins. Food rots, weapons rust, clothes wear out. In VEXHOLD you don't only fight what hunts you, you fight your own body.

Packs follow your tracks. A dog guards your base. Food, trust and care make the difference.

From clubs and bows to hunting rifles. Noise, scarce ammunition and wear decide what you carry.

Concept art8Planned medical supplies
Stop bleeding, care for the wound and protect your recovery. No instant healing in the middle of a fight.

Meet Scout
Pet Scout, give him food and water, play together and let him rest. Discover how care changes his trust and behaviour.

Tap Scout to pet him
Scout looks at you curiously. Give him a gentle introduction.
A sudden noise shows how a wary or bonded dog responds.
Scout waits for you. The prototype pauses when out of view.
This is a small browser prototype of the planned animal system. Its care rules and responses are recorded in the game plan for the future game; this is not footage from the engine.
ISLAND OF VEXHOLDBehind the walls
After the outbreak, the island of Vexhold was quarantined. The military promised an evacuation. It never came. The harbours closed, ships were turned back and walls rose along the coast. They don't keep the danger out — they keep the survivors in.
Search the remains for answers. A diary, a radio broadcast, a military document. Every trace tells you something about the island. And about what still waits in the dark.

Field guide · classified
The infected hunt by sound, even through walls. Hordes roam the island and attack bases. These are the infected as we are designing them now.
Slow, endless and everywhere. One is a problem. Twenty is a funeral.
Only comes out after dark. You hear it when it is already too late.
One scream, and the whole horde knows where you are.
Do not shoot it up close. Really don't.
To a Brute, your walls are a suggestion.
Lies under the snow in winter. Watch where you step.

The island of Vexhold
From quiet fishing villages to the military quarantine zone. Nine regions on one island, in one planned open world.

Beyond military fences lies high-tier equipment. Remnant Unit guards what remains. They are not waiting for visitors.

VEXHOLD is in early development. There is no playable version or release date yet. The first closed alpha is planned after the ten development phases; follow the roadmap for current progress.
We are building the first version for Windows PC. System requirements have not been set yet. This website also works on your phone and tablet.
The concept combines both: surviving the world and other players. Haven is planned as a safe trading post without PvP.
A price has not been set yet. When we can share more about the release and access, we will announce it on the website and in our own Discord.
